Bruce Landes
Operations Manager

Bruce has specialized in both Project Management and Operations Management for New England Organics’ since 1997. Bruce's work covers several beneficial use venues, from managing biosolid land application to utilizing Short Paper Fiber (SPF) in reclamation projects and landfill closures. His technical and sales skills are strong. Helping to develop guidelines and Best Management Practices (BMP's) for the utilization and storage of SPF, Bruce has provided hands on operational insight.

In 2004 he assumed management and sales responsibility for NEO’s client, New England Fertilizer Company (NEFCo) located in Quincy, Ma. For six years, he has promoted the use of biosolid fertilizer to both the agricultural and horticultural markets throughout southern New England and Pennsylvania, allowing NEO to triple the volume of product managed. Bruce's connections and sales aptitude are invaluable as NEO creates other outlets and recycling solutions in southern New England.

Prior to his employment with NEO, Bruce worked for BFI Organics in the Mid Atlantic region developing and permitting land application sites for various biosolid projects in Maryland and Virginia. He holds a B.S. from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture and a professional certification in Nutrient Management Planning from the Maryland Department of Agriculture.
